Key ingredients:
-
Phéohydrane is a marine complex with moisturizing properties 100% of natural and biomimetic origin. The complex combination of a micro-algae extract rich in NMF (natural moisturizing factors) boosting amino acids, with marine sugars with second skin properties and a remineralizing seawater concentrate is an ideal complex to instantly moisturize the skin and prevent water loss.
-
Hyaluronic acid : a single grade with a high molecular weight. In particular, it helps maintain water on the skin surface and thus acts as a water reservoir. This hyaluronic acid, by its nature and physiological role, provides the skin with optimal hydration by forming a non-occlusive protective film on its surface that leaves a soft and velvety finish.
-
Prebiotic : This is an α-glucan oligosaccharide obtained from natural sugars. Its assimilation by the skin flora promotes the protection and biostimulation of the skin's natural defenses. Our best allies for the balance of our skin's natural ecosystem
What is the difference between chemical filters and mineral filters?
Mineral screens provide protection across the entire spectrum of UV rays by forming a protective layer that acts as a barrier between the sun and the skin. Mineral screens are also called physical filters due to their covering power. These filters, without nanoparticles, are zinc oxide and titanium dioxide.
As for chemical filters, they have a protective action with and on the skin: they penetrate the epidermis and create a filtering layer that absorbs UV rays. They are active and effective between 20 and 30 minutes after application. Not all chemical filters are equal and the choice of these filters is essential in a clean beauty approach for the respect of consumers and the environment.
The brand makes its choice of sun filters in a reasoned manner: while mineral filters are often preferred, it does not exclude the use of certain chemical filters identified as “clean” and which offer a different spectrum of protection or a sensoriality more suited to the product function.
SeventyOne bans from all its compositions the filters oxybenzone, octinoxate, and octocrylene but also the endocrine disruptors, silicones and parabens. 0% of undesirables!
