Directions for use
How to make sure your candle burns evenly ?
Make sure your candle is placed upright and away from drafts on a flat surface.
Remove any wick or match residue from the candle container. This residue can disrupt the burning process and cause your candle to smoke, flicker, or drip. Re-center the wick if necessary.
If your candle has multiple wicks, light them all systematically so that the candle burns on every surface.
To enjoy the candle for a long time, burn it for a maximum of 1.5 hours per use.
How long can a candle stay lit ?
A candle must be left lit long enough for its surface to be liquid.
This prevents the formation of a pit and deposits on the sides of the porcelain.
Ideally, a candle should remain lit for a maximum of 1.5 hours to avoid digging and liquefying the entire surface.
How to properly store your candle ?
Avoid prolonged exposure to strong light, natural or artificial, to preserve the original color of your candles and dried flowers.
Spark plugs are also sensitive to large temperature variations.
Do not place your candles on a lit fireplace or near a strong heat source.
Dried flowers and wooden wicks are sensitive to humidity: be careful not to place them in rooms that are too humid or not well ventilated.
Ideally, store your candles in a cool place, protected from light.
How to properly light a wooden wick ?
Wooden wicks are capricious wicks... but charming! A little humidity is enough to make lighting complex.
To light it well at the core: insist with your match along the length of the wick. You can also use a gas lighter.
Won't dried flowers catch fire ?
The candles have been designed so that this does not happen: the wooden wicks have been arranged far enough away so that the flames do not touch the dried flowers. The dried flowers themselves are treated against fire with an entirely natural product by us.
If the flame touches a flower, it turns black and burns.
- For the "cocoon" model: remove the dried flowers when the surface has liquefied
- For other models: do not hesitate to remove flowers too close to the wicks before lighting it to keep the candle as pretty as possible and avoid any risk.
- When the candle is almost finished, remove any flowers that have fallen.
How to clean the porcelain box once your candle is finished ?
Vegetable soy wax is very easy to clean: a little warm soapy water and that's it!
Precautions for use :
- Lighted candles should be kept out of reach of children and animals.
- Do not leave a candle unattended, always extinguish your candles before leaving your room.
- Keep your lit candles away from flammable objects (curtains, books, etc.).
- Place your candles away from drafts to prevent any risk of fire.
- Do not touch the wax with your fingers! Some essential oils are irritating to the skin. If this happens, do not rub your eyes and wash your hands immediately.
